Description
Raven recorders are advanced audio recorders for parallel capture at meetings, workshops, conferences or in the field. Forming their own, encrypted mesh network, Raven recorders are able to extend their range by passing data from unit-to-unit, allowing a single Base Station to keep large flocks of Ravens connected in large, spread out environments.
Note that Raven Recorders require a Base Station in order to connect – this product is intended as an add-on to extend a kit including a Base Station. If you are just getting started, we recommend the Raven 5 or the Raven 10. A flock can include up to 255 Ravens.
When connected, Ravens can be centrally controlled, with recordings flowing into an automatic archiving system, or streamed live for AI analysis on Knowledge Commons.
Ravens can also be extended with accessories to embed rich data streams with your audio. Second Sight allows the Raven to sense the position, motion, excitation rate and breathing rate of everyone in the room in order to give rich signals for analysis. The Spirit deepens biofeedback with posture analysis, pulse rate and respiration.
Ravens are rechargeable, with a battery life of up to 5 hours. They can also be connected to external power for continuous operation.
